FRDESIGN 대표 최선희는 1998년 인테리어 회사를 설립하여 주거를 중심으로 디자인을 통한 삶의 질을 높이는 데 노력하고 있으며 건축과 인테리어뿐만 아니라 가구 디자인, 디스플레이 등 새로운 공간과 트렌드를 선보이고 있다. 유호정, 김남주, 장동건, 김성주 등 다수의 유명 방송인의 집과 다양한 주거공간에 제시된 디자인은 많은 사람들에게 공감을 얻고 있다. 그 외에 2006년 하우징브랜드페어 특별전시관 디렉터, 2007년 디자이너 스케치전 등의 전시와 <유호정의 행복한 집 이야기>, <살기 편한 작은집 인테리어>, <살고 싶은 집 베스트 리모델링> 등의 저서를 통해서 디자인을 전하고 있다.

Mrs. Sun Hee Choi, the CEO of FRDESIGN, established the top-notch interior design company in 1998, and has presented innovative and versatile design concepts ever since. Mrs. Choi has stood at the forefront of design innovation, particularly in the field of residential interior design, which has significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of people’s lives. Her projects introduce new trends and special concepts, and cover a wide range of related fields, including architecture, furniture design, and displays. Her design projects for Korean celebrities, including Ho-jeong Yoo, Nam-joo Kim, Dong-gun Jang, Sung-joo Kim, have drawn public attention and provided rich sources of design inspiration. Her versatile works have been introduced in the major exhibitions including the 2006 Seoul Housing Brand Fair (Art directing) and the 2007 Designer's Sketch Exhibition (Designer). In addition, her design philosophies have been featured in several books, including Ho-jeong Yoo’s Story of Happy Home, Interior Design for Tiny & Cozy Houses, and Best Remodeling for Dream Houses.

디자인의 콘셉트는 가족이 함께하는 행복한 소통의 공간이다. 어깨가 부딪히고 발을 뻗으면 닫는 가족간의 스킨십. 저마다 하루의 이야깃거리를 나누고 TV나 영화를 보면서도 자연스럽게 부딪히는 가족의 살결과 숨결을 나누는 따뜻한 공간. 거실 바닥에 누워 잠시 잠을 청할 수도 있고 무릎을 베개 삼아 누워 이야기를 나눌 수도 있다. Down step living room을 매개로 가족 간의 사랑의 울타리를 만들어 거실 본래의 기능을 실현하고자 한다. The main idea of the design is a place which family members happily share, by communicating. A place for a family to be in touch with each other, in a reaching distance. Natural communications take place, while sharing their daily issues, watching TV or enjoying a movie. A warm and cozy place for feeling the care of your family. You can lie on the floor for a quick nap, or talk to a family, with your head resting on their lap. You can play games or take some time for delicious snacks. The idea of the Down Step Living Room, is to realize the original function of a living room where members of the family share their caring and loving minds.
